What got you into skateboarding? Skateboarding always been a part of my life since I was like 9. Some of my friends had boards and we would take them too the top of a big hill in front of my house. We would learn how to keep balance and stand on the board all the way down. It’s always been apart of me growing up, but I never started taking it serious until about 6 - 7 years ago. My older brother’s friend (Jay Mayne) skateboards and has an influence to why I started skating and stuff. Watching him skate parks made me really want to learn
I seen some photos that you play guitar 🎸 and stuff can you tell me a little about that? Yeah I started playing guitar when I was 8 years old. I saw a video on tv of someone shredding on guitar and I begged my parents to buy me this black acoustic guitar with flames 🔥 on it from the Christmas wish book 📖 . couple of weeks went by and I got the guitar and I started learning single string songs, basic chords, then I asked to get put into guitar lessons, took those for like 2-3 years and kinda took off from there. Been playing ever since.
I seen that you also do YouTube stuff and from what I remembered it’s pretty good, do you still make videos for YouTube? Yeah I still make videos for youtube I had to stop for a bit. I didn’t have a camera for the longest time, But I’ll be posting more videos like board setups, trick challenges and tutorials. Stay tuned for that.
Favourite song that gets you pumped to go skate? Right now my favourite song that gets me pumped to skate is “Bottom of the Pot” by Key Glock.
We’re gonna wrap it up here, Any last words for the black community and female skaters that might be reading this? Everyone stay safe. And to the female skaters, never get discouraged and you have to remember that skateboarding comes with injuries. And last but not least just have fun!
